Established in 2014, Tzu Chi Great Love Preschool offers a warm and nurturing environment for children aged two to six. With the goal of providing a holistic education that supports each child in building character, nurturing life skills, and cultivating love and respect for all living beings, the centre gently guides children along a path of growth rooted in compassion and mindfulness.
By integrating the teachings of Jing Si Aphorisms into the curriculum, the centre brings Master Cheng Yen’s educational ideals to life within the local context. Values such as gratitude, respect and contentment are gently instilled through daily routines and classroom experiences, enabling children to grow with inner clarity, moral courage and a compassionate heart from an early age.
A Calm and Loving Space for Growth
Children flourish in spaces that are calm, health-conscious and connected to nature. At Tzu Chi Great Love Preschool, classrooms are designed with their well-being in mind, featuring laminate wood flooring and ceiling fans to encourage fresh airflow. By minimising the use of air conditioning, we create bright, well-ventilated spaces that reduce the spread of germs and offer a serene, comfortable environment for learning.
Each day, children enjoy plant-based meals lovingly prepared with nutrition and compassion in mind. These mealtimes are opportunities for children to practise mindfulness, gratitude and respect for life, reinforcing the values we teach through their everyday routines.

Education at Tzu Chi Great Love Preschool is guided by the principles of imparting propriety and instilling virtue. Our curriculum places a strong emphasis on character development, nurturing each child’s sense of kindness, respect and responsibility. They are lovingly supported by a dedicated group of Tzu Chi volunteers, who assist in classroom activities and offer an added layer of encouragement and support. These volunteers provide valuable assistance during lessons, allowing teachers to concentrate fully on their educational duties and deliver the best possible learning experience for every child.
Together, they create a harmonious and caring environment where children feel safe, respected and lovingly accompanied on their journey of growth.
